With more than 50,000 educational resources in the Thinkfinity collection, the choices are extraordinary but can be overwhelming. To help afterschool practitioners better navigate our resources, we've begun identifying activities, lesson plans, interactives and other materials suitable for afterschool settings.

The selected resources in this afterschool collection:

  • support positive youth development and engagement
  • are easily adapted to serve your program goals and participants

A brief description written expressly for afterschool educators summarizes the academic and youth development components associated with each resource. In addition, we provide tips on implementing the activities and suggest ways to adapt the material to suit your timeframe and objectives-and, especially, to respond to the interests of your participants.

Resources are organized by grade level. Many of the resources are suitable for multiple age groups and can be used by younger or older children.
